Clyde---James A. Larsen, 74, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Syracuse

VA Medical Center after battling cancer.

Friends may call from 4- 7 PM on Monday, Feb 12, 2024, at the Baris Funeral Home, 87

West Genesee Street, Clyde NY. There will be a private family burial at Sampson Veterans

Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Larsen was born in Auburn, on Feb. 8, 1949, the son of the late Laverne and Ruth

Phillips Larsen. He served his country in the US Army, in Vietnam. After the service he

worked as a carpenter for several companies including Park Lane Construction, Finger

Lakes Construction and Stoneburg Construction.

Jim is survived by a son Timothy (Alicia) Larsen of Clyde; two daughters Jennifer Miller

and Maria Larsen both of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a

brother Robert (Kathy) Larsen; five sisters Sandra Larsen, Margaret McGough, Helen

Larsen, Carol Ann Bobertz, and Mary Hampton. He was predeceased by his brother

William Larsen in 2016.
